Hey, I’m Casey. Welcome to our newsletter, sharing the startup journey of Kamui Whisky K.K. We’ve been busy, but when we aren’t overwhelmed, the team or I will share a story as we craft up a whisky distillery on a remote, volcanic island in the most northern part of Japan.

This is about where construction stands today. The construction negotiations took forever, and probably gave our architect heart problems, but now things are moving very fast. Someday I’ll tell the story about the racket that is Rishiri construction, but, for now, hope you have enjoyed the photos. Some of these are worth saving as your background photo, no?
